Matthew 24:9-13

Jesus predicts a "Great Falling Away" period prior to His return. He challenges us to be prepared for persecution and betrayal and possible martyrdom for our faith. He warns us to not fall prey to false teachers. It will take a tenacious faith to stand strong in those days.
